Broiled Basil Tomatoes

Instructions
- About 15 minutes before serving, preheat broiler if manufacturer directs.
- Cut out stem of each tomato and then cut each tomato horizontally in half.
- Place halves, cut sides up, on rack in broiling pan.
- Brush with oil.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper and basil leaves.
- About 5 to 7 inches from source of heat, broil tomato halves until tomatoes are heated through, about 10 minutes. Makes 4 servings, about 50 calories per serving.
