- Cook rice as follows:
- boil 2 cups water; add a pinch of salt. Pour in 1/2 cup long grain brown rice and return to boil.
- Add 1/2 cup long grain white rice and return to boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
- Cook for about 30 minutes without stirring.
- Set aside.
