Buttered Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 6 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Place popped corn in large mixing bowl.
  2. Bring to boil, everything except vanilla and soda.
  3. Simmer 5 minutes while stirring.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add the vanilla and soda.
  6. Mix well.
