Ingredients

  • 1/2 fryer chicken per person
  • 1 small white onion
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. For each person, wrap 1/2 chicken, onion, butter, salt and pepper in a generous sheet of aluminum foil.
  2. Fasten ends and center of foil tightly.
  3. Handle carefully and do not puncture foil.
  4. Place in 350° oven or on campfire and bake for 45 minutes or more.
  5. You may add potatoes and carrots to packet.
