Cashaw

Instructions
- Peel cashaw and cut up in cube size pieces.
- Place in Corning Ware baking dish.
- Add sugar, water and oleo; sprinkle good with nutmeg.
- Cover and cook slowly until slightly tender.
- Test with fork.
- Remove lid; raise fire and cook until done and juice has thickened.
- May also be cooked in oven.
