Instructions
- Spoon vinegar over brisket.
- Place in a shallow pan.
- Sprinkle brisket with garlic powder, salt and pepper on all sides. Marinate at room temperature for several hours, turning occasionally (example:
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
- Cook on charcoal grill with top closed for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or use thermometer to register rare.
- Do not overcook!
- Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate.
- Return to butcher to have thinly sliced.
- Serve with party rye and hot mustard.
