Cherry-Cake Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 layer size) pkg. fudge cake mix (See Note)
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • 2 beaten eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a large bowl, mix fudge cake mix, almond extract, cherry pie filling and beaten eggs; beat with mixer until well blended.
  3. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool 1 to 2 hours before frosting.
  6. Let frosting set before cutting into bars.
