Cherry Swirl Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus white cake mix
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 21 oz. can cherry fruit filling
  • whipped topping (if desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Generously grease and flour pan.
  3. In large bowl, blend first four ingredients until moistened.
  4. Beat 2 minutes.
  5. Pour into pan.
  6. Reserve 1 cup cherry filling for topping.
  7. Spoon remaining cherry filling over batter; gently swirl through batter to marbleize.
  8. Cook 35 to 45 minutes at 350°. Cool.
  9. Spread reserved cherry filling over cake.
  10. Top with whipped topping.
  11. Keep in refrigerator.
