Ingredients

  • cake
  • whipped cream
  • custard sauce
  • chocolate

Instructions

  1. Bake devil's food cake in layers as directed.
  2. Cool.
  3. Split one layer in half to make two thin layers.
  4. Spread custard sauce between thin layers.
  5. Cover top with whipped cream and decorate with shaved chocolate.
  6. Serve in wedges.
  7. Serve remaining layer later.
