Colonade Icing
Ingredients
Instructions
- Mix sugar, water and syrup.
- Cook to soft ball stage.
- Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry.
- Slowly add hot sugar/syrup mixture to egg whites, beating constantly until icing is like cream.
- Add confectioners sugar.
- Leftover frosting may be refrigerated, then heated over warm water to lukewarm and used as needed.
