Colonial Popovers

Instructions
- Blend the milk, oil and eggs with wire whip.
- Combine salt and flour and add to the egg mixture, beating thoroughly.
- Batter will be lumpy.
- Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Grease heavy muffin or popover pans thoroughly, but do not flour.
- Fill baking cups to top with batter and bake in preheated 425° oven for 20 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° and continue baking for 20 minutes more.
- Popovers should have a hollow sound when tapped and be brown all over.
