Ingredients

  • 14 large red corncobs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 package pectin

Instructions

  1. Wash the corncobs thoroughly, cutting off both ends to remove any insects.
  2. Place the corncobs in a large container and cover completely with water.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the cobs and strain the juice through a heavy cloth.
  5. Combine 3 cups of the juice with sugar and pectin in a pot.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, following the directions on the pectin package, and boil accordingly.
