Cornflake Nests

Ingredients

  • 6 c. cornflakes (plain)
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cook mixture of butter and sugar in a heavy skillet, stirring with a whisk constantly until mixture bubbles.
  2. Pour over the cornflakes (in a large bowl); toss well, then quickly press into small individual ring molds.
  3. These make light crispy "nests" in which to serve ice cream of frozen yogurt.
  4. Lemon cream is particularly favored flavor.
