Cuban Water Bread

Instructions
- Dissolve yeast, salt and sugar with some of the water.
- With wooden spoon, beat flour into rest of water until you have a batter.
- Pour in yeast mixture and mix.
- Add flour until right consistency.
- Knead.
- Cover bowl with a damp cloth (after putting mixture into bowl).
- Let rise.
- Punch down.
- Divide into 2 round loaves.
- Put on greased baking sheet.
- Sprinkle loaves with cornmeal.
- Let rise 5 minutes.
- Cut a cross on top with sharp knife.
- Put pan in cold oven with cake
- pan of boiling water on bottom of oven.
- Bake at 400° for 45 minutes.
- Serve at once.
