Cucumber Pickles(Sweet)

Ingredients

  • 1 gal. brined cucumbers
  • 2 qt. vinegar (for soaking)
  • 4 to 6 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. mixed spices (pickle)

Instructions

  1. Soak brined cukes in several changes of warm water to remove excess salt.
  2. Use a large needle to puncture each cucumber near the end and at the center.
  3. Cover with 1 part water and 3 parts vinegar.
  4. Let it stand a week.
