  • water
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash the cushaw well; remove seeds; cut into quarters.
  2. Put the cushaw in a kettle, filling it half full with water.
  3. Add 1 cup of sugar on top of the cushaw.
  4. Cook until the cushaw becomes brown on the bottom and is tender.
