Divinity Peanut Butter Roll

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cook sugar, syrup and water to hard boil stage.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff; add to syrup mixture.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Beat 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Knead on board covered with powdered sugar.
  6. Roll in oblong shape.
  7. Spread with peanut butter.
  8. Roll up; chill, then cut.
