Dressing For Endive

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • browned bacon, chopped

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs; add vinegar and water.
  2. Blend sugar and cornstarch. Add to eggs, vinegar and water.
  3. Add browned bacon.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  5. Pour over cleaned endive. Can also be used over lettuce.
