Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. Bisquick or Jiffy mix
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. any preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  2. Mix margarine, sugar and Bisquick or Jiffy mix.
  3. Stir until dough forms.
  4. Beat about 15 strokes.
  5. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased pan. Make a shallow well in center of each with the back of a spoon. Fill with preserves.
  6. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, until golden brown. While warm drizzle with glaze.
  7. Makes 12 Danish.
