Drunken pears

Ingredients

  • 1/2 liter red wine
  • 1 liter water
  • 6 large pears
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 3 anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla
  • 1 vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil wine and water together, also just the first minute add all the spices (vanilla, cinnamon stick, anise flowers, sugar)
  2. By that time, peel the pears but keep the whole, do not cut into pieces.
  3. When the water starts to boil, carefully put the pears into it and continue boiling for 20-30 minutes on slow fire.
  4. While serving cut into 2 pieces, and don't forget to put also vanilla ice cream and a little bit of the sauce it was cooked in on the plate while serving.
  5. Serve hot.
