Dry Rub Spare Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds spare ribs
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon jamaican curry powder

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients for the rub in a small bowl and mix.
  2. Rub the ribs with the dry rub and place in a zip-lock bag or in a covered bowl in the refrigerator over- night.
  3. Preheat the oven 350 degrees:
  4. Place the ribs in a baking pan. Cover the pan with tin foil and bake for about 2 hours, untouched.
