Easy Basic Cream Pie Filling

- Use a heavy saucepan (large).
- Mix milk and eggs together in your saucepan, then mix sugar and cornstarch together and add to milk and eggs.
- Stir constantly until mixture thickens and boils up a little bit.
- Remove from heat.
- Add margarine, vanilla and food coloring.
- Makes two 9-inch pies.
