Easy Chess Pie Variation

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 stick oleo, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. plum jelly or preserves
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs; melt oleo.
  2. Mix all ingredients together using a whisk.
  3. Bake at 275° in an unbaked pie shell until firm.
  4. Takes about 1 hour.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle cinnamon over top.
