Ingredients

  • 1 quart ripe berries
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the berries and 2 cups of sugar in a pan.
  2. Boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining sugar and lemon juice.
  4. Boil for 12 to 15 minutes longer.
  5. Remove from heat and stir until foam disappears.
  6. Let set overnight.
  7. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
