Ingredients

  • 1 cake (made from mix or prepare your own)
  • 1 pkg. gelatin (any flavor that will match cake)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake according to the mix or your own recipe and let it cool.
  2. Prepare the gelatin according to the package instructions and let it cool at room temperature until it is warm but not set.
  3. Use a fork to poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake.
  4. Pour the warm gelatin over the top of the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
  5. Refrigerate the cake until the gelatin sets.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
