Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 slices tomato
  • 1/2 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
  2. Mix the self-rising flour with cold water to form a batter.
  3. Fry spoonfuls of the batter until golden brown, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. Cut the fried batter in half.
  5. Spread mayonnaise on one half and place tomato slices on the other half.
  6. Put the two halves together, season with salt, and serve.
