Instructions
- Combine sugar, salt and cocoa; mix well.
- Add water and milk; mix well.
- Cook over medium heat until mixture reaches soft ball stage.
- Do not stir while cooking.
- After reaching soft ball stage, put pan in cold water.
- Add butter and vanilla.
- Swirl butter until it melts.
- Do not stir.
- Let stand in cold water until warm.
- Beat until glossy shine disappears.
- Pour into buttered pan.
- Cut into squares.
