Ingredients

  • 1 chuck roast
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Line a baking dish with enough aluminum foil to completely cover dish and roast.
  3. Place roast in center; shake Lipton onion soup mix over roast.
  4. Spread the cream of mushroom soup over roast, also.
  5. Depending on what size roast you get will tell you how long to cook it.
  6. For a 3 1/2 to 4-pound roast, cook for approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
  7. The meat will fall apart.
  8. Makes gravy.
