Ingredients

  • 6 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 Tbsp. salt
  • 16 c. all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Warm
  2. water
  3. in
  4. pan.
  5. Add all other ingredients except flour. Measure flour into extra large bowl or pan.
  6. Add water mixture to flour all at
  7. once.
  8. Stir
  9. and mix with spoon until too stiff. Begin kneading and knead until dough is smooth and elastic, adding more flour if needed.
  10. Grease extra large bowl or pan and place dough
  11. in
  12. bowl
  13. or
  14. pan.
  15. Cover and let rise until double. Punch down and let rise again. Shape into loaves and place into pans. Makes
  16. 6 to 8 loaves.
  17. Let rise again in pan.
  18. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
  19. This bread is great.
