Food Processor French Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3 1/2 c. bread flour or all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Combine flour and salt in processor bowl and mix for a few seconds.
  3. Add dissolved yeast. With machine running, slowly pour in approximately 1 cup water.
  4. A soft ball of dough should form in a few seconds.
  5. If dough is too sticky, add flour a tablespoon at a time.
  6. If dough is too dry and ball does not form, add water a teaspoon or so at a time.
  7. Process about 1 minute after ball forms to knead dough.
