Fried Walnuts

Instructions
- In large saucepan over high heat, bring 6 cups water to boil. Add walnuts; cook 1 minute.
- Rinse under running hot water (drain well).
- In large bowl, toss nuts in sugar.
- Use deep skillet. Heat 1-inch of oil to 350°.
- With slotted spoon, place nuts in coarse sieve to drain.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Toss lightly to keep from sticking.
- Spread on waxed paper to cool.
- Store in airtight container to keep fresh.
