Fruit Cake Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 sponge cake (tube pan shaped)
  • 2 pkg. vanilla pudding, prepared
  • 1 large can fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1 to 2 pt. whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Slice cake horizontally into 3 to 4 layers.
  2. Mix cooked pudding and drained fruit cup.
  3. Place one cake layer on plate.
  4. Cover with portion of pudding/fruit mixture.
  5. Repeat, ending on top with a cake layer.
  6. Frost with whipped cream.
  7. Refrigerate overnight so cake will absorb other ingredients.
  8. Slice and serve.
