Fry Bread Scones

Ingredients

  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 to 3 1/2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix oil, yeast, water and sugar; set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Mix flour and salt and add to oil mixture.
  3. Knead 6 to 8 times. Insert bowl on top of dough and wait 5 minutes.
  4. Fry in hot oil until golden.
