Garlic Smashed Red Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pound Small Red Potatoes
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 cups Water
  • 1/4 cups Chive And Onion Cream Cheese

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut potatoes so they are all roughly the same size, and place in a 3-4 quart slow cooker. Add garlic, oil, salt and water, tossing to coat.
  2. 2. Cook on high for 3-3 1/2 hours.
  3. 3. Mash the potatoes in the slow cooker, and mix together with any resulting juices. Add the cream cheese and stir in enough milk to make it your desired consistency (if you need it).
  4. These can be held in slow cooker for up to 2 hours, on warm.
