Ingredients

  • 2 qt. milk
  • 3 c. buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • approximately 1 Tbsp. cornstarch, in 1/2 c. cold water

Instructions

  1. Place milk and buttermilk in a kettle.
  2. Beat eggs; add sugar and salt.
  3. Add to milk and cook over low heat for two hours. Thicken with cornstarch.
