Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Flour
  • 4 tsp. Bakewell Creme
  • 2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 Cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Sift together all dry ingredients.
  2. Blend in shortening.
  3. Add milk to mixture.
  4. Roll out onto floured surface to about 1 1/2 inches thick and cut with floured cutter.
  5. Dab tops with butter and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350 degrees for 5 more minutes.
