Granma'S Apple Pie

- Mix the pie crust according to the directions on the box. Split the dough in half.
- Roll out the bottom crust to fit the bottom of the pie pan.
- Mix cinnamon into the sugar and set aside.
- Slice apples very thin.
- Fill the pie crust with the sliced apples.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the apples in the crust.
- Roll out the top crust and place it over the filled pie.
- Press down the edges of the pie all around to seal.
- Pinch holes into the top crust to allow juice to escape while baking.
- Line the bottom of the oven with tinfoil to catch leaks.
- Bake the pie for about 1 1/2 hours at 325°F.
