Instructions
- Split hens down middle.
- Brown rice only 15 minutes in large Pyrex dish at 375°.
- In separate bowl, mix water, package of seasoning from Rice-A-Roni and chicken soup.
- After rice browns, lower oven to 350°; put hens over top of rice (will sizzle).
- Pour mixture over hens; cover and cook 1 hour.
- Uncover 30 minutes to brown.
- Excellent side dish with this:
- cut up fresh apples with poppy seed dressing.
