Ingredients

  • dark rum
  • sugar
  • vanilla
  • ground nutmeg
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Beat butter or margarine until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Sift confectioners' sugar into the butter.
  3. Add rum, vanilla, and nutmeg.
  4. Beat on high speed for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve at once over cake, or cover and refrigerate.
  6. Bring to room temperature before using if refrigerated.
