Ingredients

  • 2 (4 oz. each) cans whole Greek chillies, seeded and chopped
  • 2 (4 1/2 oz. each) cans chopped black olives
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vegetable or olive oil
  • garlic salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 sweet red pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped green chillies with the chopped olives, tomatoes and green onions, the lemon juice, oil, garlic salt and pepper in a medium-size bowl, blending well.
  2. Serve immediately or refrigerate overnight to heighten the flavors.
  3. Hollow out a sweet red pepper, if you wish, and fill with the dip.
  4. Makes 3 cups.
