Herbed Breadsticks

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 cans (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent rolls, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In small bowl combine parsley, onion, Italian seasoning and crushed red pepper flakes; set aside. Unroll 1 can of dough into 2 long rectangles.
  3. Overlap long sides 1/2-inch, firmly press edges and perforations to seal.
  4. Press seasoning mixture evenly over dough. On large sheet of waxed paper, shape remaining crescent roll dough as before into 14 x 8-inch rectangle.
  5. Place on top of seasoned layer.
  6. Firmly press together.
  7. Cut crosswise into sixteen 8-inch strips.
  8. Twist each strip and place on ungreased baking sheet, pressing ends into baking sheet.
  9. Bake 12 to 18 minutes until light golden brown. Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes.
  10. Serve warm.
  11. Makes 16 breadsticks.
