Ingredients

  • 6 lean pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Lay chops in a baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and 1 cup onion.
  3. Spread rice over chops.
  4. Cover with tomatoes, remaining onion, sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Makes 6 servings.
