Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. light raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour milk into saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Beat eggs slightly and add gradually to milk.
  3. Cook over low heat about 8 minutes.
  4. Stir constantly.
  5. Add vanilla.
  6. Pour mixture into cheesecloth and tie tightly, forming a ball.
  7. Hang and let drain into pan for 2 to 4 hours.
  8. Remove from cheesecloth; cover with dampened cloth and refrigerate.
