A no-freezer ice cream dessert combining crunchy cookies, creamy vanilla ice cream, and fluffy Cool Whip for a cool treat suitable for gatherings and hot days.

Ingredients

  • 1 roll Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies
  • 1/2 gallon softened vanilla ice cream
  • 8 oz Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Crush one roll of Chips Ahoy cookies and spread evenly in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Spread softened vanilla ice cream on top of the crushed cookies.
  3. Spread Cool Whip evenly over the ice cream layer.
  4. Place the pan in the freezer to re-freeze until firm.
  5. Just before serving, sprinkle the top with additional crushed cookies.
