Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup corn flake crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon corn flake crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Combine all powdered ingredients in a paper or plastic bag.
  3. Moisten chicken pieces with water, salad dressing, etc.
  4. Shake 1-2 pieces at a time. Place on baking pan. I use a rack and pan to let the grease drip off.
  5. Bake bone-in for 1 hr, boneless for 30-40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 (165-175 for thighs).
