Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 stick Blue Bonnet margarine
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. plain flour

Instructions

  1. Cream together Crisco and margarine.
  2. Add sugar and beat.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time.
  4. Beat after adding each one.
  5. Sfit flour and add alternately with milk until the 3 cups of flour are blended. Add vanilla.
  6. Bake 1 hour in 350° oven in 8 x 12 x 2-inch pan or tube pan.
