Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 c. sliced apples
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • apple pie spice (if desired)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Slice apples into frying pan; add butter.
  2. Mix sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon together.
  3. Add to apples and butter; heat until good and hot.
  4. Pour into pie crust; add top crust or strips across.
  5. Bake at 425° for 25 minutes.
