Ingredients

  • Italian dressing
  • T-Bone steak
  • Cracked pepper
  • Red wine

Instructions

  1. Combine Italian dressing, cracked pepper, and red wine; pour over the T-Bone steaks and let stand for 2 hours or more.
  2. Add damp hickory chips to medium-hot coals.
  3. Cook the steaks for 10 to 15 minutes, basting with a small part of the unused marinade.
  4. Turn the steaks and cook for an additional 15 to 20 minutes with the grill cover closed.
  5. Serve the steaks with heated unused marinade.
