Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups white Karo syrup
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Cook the sugar, white Karo, and water to 300°F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Remove from heat and add coloring (red, green, or yellow) and 1 teaspoon of flavoring.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a large cookie sheet.
  4. Let cool until partially hardened, then cut into small pieces with scissors before completely cooling.
  5. Mix the candy pieces with powdered sugar before serving.
