Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • flavoring

Instructions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. When melted, remove from heat and slowly mix in the sugar, flavor and color.
  3. When it is a nice ball, remove from pan and shape as desired.
  4. Smaller pieces are better due to the richness of the mint.
  5. Makes about 1 pound of candy.
